Mercedes-Benz Universal –65

Mercedes Universal (Safari) 190DC -1965, Rust-free. Very rare!
This is a complete restoration project that doesn’t need any rust repair.
These cars are not for sale very often and there are only a few left. The car is totally rust-free, which is very rare for a Universal. There are hardly any 1965´s left because they rusted so bad. 1965 was the first year that the Universal came out and it was only sold only in certain countries. It was sold under the name ”Safari” but the following year the name was changed to ”Universal” and it was sold worldwide. This particular car was actually produced at the end of 1964 but was delivered in 1965, so it’s one of the first ones made. The underside is totally original an free from rust. The body is also rust-free. The sills underneath the doors are solid with no rust and I invite you to bring a magnet to check out the whole car. There is a 200D engine from 1966 in the car right now but it comes with the original type 190DC engine as well. It doesn’t run and needs to be assembled. The car comes with a brand new stainless-steeI exhaust system. The mechanical parts and all the interior parts, that comes with it, can be seen in the pictures. The car is complete.
